About Missing Link

Welcome to Missing Link Rescue. Our goal is to promote responsible animal ownership and to assume those responsibilities when others are unable or unwilling to do so.

We focus on the rescue and placement of homeless animals in the Birmingham and surrounding areas. We take in and attempt to re-home stray and/or abandoned animals, and do not limit ourselves to just dogs and cats. We accept all types of animals in need, as space permits. We are available on a 7/24/365 basis.

Our founder and director, Debbie Cousins, has been working with and rescuing animals for over 20 years. Our co-founder, Deb Kilgore has been involved in animal rescue for many years. Together, these two ladies make great animal advocates.

In order to fulfill our mission we will depend solely on public donations, foster homes and barns. Click on one of the links below to view our currently available animals for adoption.

Any and all donations towards their expense will be welcomed. You may specify a particular animal or service you wish your donation to be applied to, or leave it to our discretion. But ALL DONATIONS go directly to the animals. Please see our gallery page for pictures and info on these deserving animals at Missing Link.
